James Sylvestre Enterprises is a family business and an Essex County institution. We build it for what we say we will - no expensive change orders and no surprises allowed. That's why all JSE bids are guaranteed. That attitude is why we use better grades of wood, it's not just the barns we build, and why we have our own drafting and engineering departments that handle the permitting for you. Of course, better post protection, thicker siding, extra bracing, better galvanized nails, it's also the way we do business that matters. I learned the skills and the craft from an early age, but more importantly I learned the right attitude: My name was going on the building, so it had to be built right. My father started this business, from age 11 on, and I grew up, helping him build barns. Since 1968 JSE has built 1216 pole barns and pre-engineered steel buildings in this area. Bottom line: You can trust JSE to build it right, and to build it on time and on budget.
